Meh. Owned a CM with the Delta motor. Yeah it needs a belt change every 60k. Dealers know about it and run specials to do it for $300 while you wait. Kept up with the belt and it was a damn reliable motor.

Yeah I think that’s the reason there aren’t many of them left and mine having no resale value. They have a bad rap as motors that self-destruct, but I think it is bad owners not bad motors. Most people have gotten used to timing chains and or non-interference designs and the belts left typically have 75 or 100k intervals.
